• Transmission and reflectance measurement - maximum flexibility
• Tri-beam technology
• Video Preview for measurement accuracy and targeting

The Lovibond® RT850i is a high performance benchtop spectrophotometer, designed to give fast, precise and accurate colour measurement information on a range of products when used with OnColorTM software. Whether you're establishing colour references or complying with established colour programs the RT850i offers the widest variety of samples sizes, shapes, textures and opacity levels and proves time and again to be the most versatile colour measurement instrument in its class.

Easy-access transmission measurement chamber - achieve maximum flexibility
The instrument has a wide transmission chamber to accommodate larger samples, including various sized sample holders and cuvettes. In addition, it is capable of both direct and total transmission measurement. Whether you're working with transparent plastics, glass, dyes, petroleum or other liquids you'll find it easy to get precise, accurate measurements of transmitted and absorbed light - without time-consuming adjustments.

User-selectable illumination filters - attain maximum flexibility
UV exclusion filters (400 nm) are standard on the RT850i. UV exclusion filtration identifies the presence of fluorescent materials and allows calibration of UV content.

Versatile sample holder for convenience
The sample holder offers a number of intelligent features to make your job easier:
Dampening action. Controlled closing action protects the sample and the instrument.
Hinged sample door. Enables manual viewing of sample position in the view port.
Detent lever. Allows you to prop the holder open, if necessary.

Internal and external protection - prevent costly contamination
The instrument has built-in protection from contamination. An optically pure glass plate shields the lamp from damage.

User-defined instrument configurations - save time each time you measure
OnColorTM software - which manages both quality assurance and colour formation - controls all RT850i functions, so there's no need to interact with an instrument keypad. The software lets you save and store frequently used instrument configurations for quick selection. This time-saving feature allows you to measure samples under various settings.

Lovibond® RT100 Handheld Spectrophotometers

Lovibond® RT100 Handheld Spectrophotometers

Price: £3,191.00 (£3,829.20 Including VAT at 20%)

Quantity:
Compact, lightweight colorimeters, giving spectral reflectance data for batch-to-batch colour control and detection of colour inconsistencies. The RT100 consists of a hand-held spectrophotometer unit with an integrated measuring head (0º/45º measuring geometry) for precision colour measurement and control of regular solids, semi solids and liquids. Supplied with colour software for instrument operation and for presentation and analysis of reflectance data.

Lovibond® RT100 Sample Holders for Liquids, Semi Solids & Powders
The following adapters allow the RT100 to be used for colour control of liquids, semi solids and powders by establishing a constant sample environment, which ensures that sample comparisons are of significance. In particular they exclude ambient light, which can affect measurements, and fix the sample path length, which may influence readings especially if samples are translucent. For colour control of standard opaque samples, the spectrometer unit can be removed from the adapter.

Lovibond® RT100 Cell Adaptor (supplied with 10 & 20 mm cells and a white reference)
Suitable for translucent and opaque liquids, semi-solids and powders. The RT100 measuring head is mounted in a light-excluding compartment that houses the sample in a 10 or 20 mm cell backed by a white reference.
Lovibond® RT100 Tube Adaptor (supplied with 2 sample tubes & white tubular calibration standard) Suitable for opaque liquids, semi-solidsand powders. The RT100 measuring head is mounted in a light-excluding funnel that houses the samples in tubes.

Lovibond® RT100 Colour Software
• Works under Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/NT/2000/XP
• Displays a choice of colour spaces or reflectance curves
• Input and selection of reference values
• Averaging of multiple measurements
• Includes a verbal indication of colour differences
• Data export to ASCII files
• Direct data export into MS Excel

Measuring Functions and Indices
The Lovibond® RT300 series of versatile, portable spectrophotometers is designed to give fast, precise and accurate colour measurement information on a range of products. They provide absolute and difference measurements in various colorimetric systems including CIE XYZ, CIE Yxy, CIE L*a*b*, Hunter LAB, CIE L*c*h, CMC and CIE 94, whiteness and yellowness per ASTM E313-98, metamerism Index and DIN 6172.

Flexible Measurement Modes
The RT300 stores up to 1024 standards with tolerances for easy pass/fail measurement. A red/green LED-illuminated indicator and the LCD display provide visual confirmation of results. A tone also sounds to indicate a fail result. To allow the operator to take quality-control readings in a time-efficient manner without having to create tolerances or store data, it is also possible to take a quick measurement and comparison of two colours.

Special ‘PROJECT Mode’
Each project maintains a group of standards from which the instrument selects the closest colour for comparison with measured samples. The projects mode helps to organise standards eg a project can represent a customer that has several standard colours for a particular product line.

Opacity, Colour Strength and Shade Sorting
The RT300 can measure opacity as well as three colour strength options: chromatic, apparent and tristimulus calculations. They also perform 555 shade sorting. These are important considerations in the colour quality control of manufactured products involving plastic, painted or textile materials.

User-Friendly Ergonomics
In addition to on-board programmes to assist the operator in the data collection process, the instruments themselves are highly user-friendly. They are compact and lightweight. A wrist strap and tactile side grips make them easy to hold. Read-outs are large and easy to see. A rechargeable battery pack allows extended operation of the instrument.

• Lightweight, compact, portable instruments
• Diffuse/8º sphere or 0º/45º optical geometry
• Large, easy-to-read graphical LCD display
• Opacity and colour strength measurement
• Flip-back target shoe for flexible use
• Rugged construction
